Deansgate and the Great Jackson Street corridor
This is where the benchmark for resident amenities in Manchester has been set, and it shows.
Deansgate Square is the obvious starting point. The Club, the development's shared amenity building, covers 22,000 sq ft across two levels and is operated by Technogym. It includes a 20-metre indoor pool, sauna, steam room, spin studio, yoga studio, and a full-size sports hall that can be used for five-a-side football, tennis, and basketball. It is the only full-sized sports hall in a residential building in Manchester. The four towers (South, East, West and North) all have access to it as part of their tenancy.
The Blade and Three60, situated in the neighbouring New Jackson area, are quieter and more focused. Their resident gyms are well-equipped with cardio and strength equipment and dedicated studio space for yoga and Pilates, without the scale of Deansgate Square's offering.
Elizabeth Tower on Crown Street is worth mentioning for one specific reason: the resident gym and swimming pool sit on the 44th floor. It is the UK's highest residential pool, with views across the city.
