A double room is available in a 3-bedroom new build house, which you will have for your sole use most of the time as the resident couple works away frequently. The house features full thermostatic central heating and instant hot water. The room includes a wardrobe and drawers. You will have access to a kitchen, a living room with a large TV, a luxury bathroom, and a shed in the small, sunny garden with seating, suitable for storing a bicycle. A car parking space is available in front of the house.
As the residents will be away for extended periods, you will be expected to keep shared areas clean. The ideal tenant is a trustworthy professional who enjoys their own company and is looking for a place to share, with the residents rarely being present. You will have full access to the living/dining area. This is a quiet estate with good neighbours, so it is not suitable for someone seeking a party house. It may suit a couple or someone with a well-behaved dog who is looking to move to the area and wants to stay locally while house hunting.
Bedding and towels can be supplied, or you can use your own. A washing machine with a dryer is available, as is the garden for hanging clothes.
The property is in a quiet location, within walking distance of Amble centre and the beach, and opposite a large Morrisons supermarket. It is approximately 20 minutes by car to Alnwick, 25 minutes to Morpeth, and 40 minutes to Newcastle.
Rent is £600 pcm, inclusive of all bills and Wifi. Rental terms for a couple can be discussed and may be slightly higher. If you work from home, the impact on heating and electricity charges can also be discussed.
Non-smokers are preferred, as smoking or vaping is not allowed in the house. Otherwise, there are no specific preferences, as long as you are a nice, friendly person.
