Description
Bigwood Lodge is a turn of the century gate house that would have originally been lived in by the gate keeper for the main manor house. The property is externally pretty to look at but internally does need cosmetic attention albeit the existing tenant has improved certain things. There are three bedrooms upstairs with two being doubles however the bathroom is located on the ground floor. The ground floor itself comprises a living room, separate dining room or study and basic kitchen. The bathroom is slightly dated in appearance whilst the kitchen has all the appliances you would expect albeit it is not new in condition. The lounge is situated towards the front of the house whilst the dining room/study is positioned facing the main lawned garden area. Access to the lawn is through French doors that lead straight onto the lawn itself. There is ample parking and Bigwood Lodge itself has a large garden and also has its own woodland to explore. Central heating is provided through an LPG boiler that has a current gas safety certificate with this certificate to be renewed in the next few weeks. The boiler is less than two years old. The property is situated on the Bracknell/Wokingham border so is a five minute drive from either Wokingham or Bracknell town centres. Bigwood Lodge is an attractive option for someone who wants a decent amount of internal space, character and a good sized garden with ample off road parking. There is a useable separate garage as well.
