Windsor Terrace Housing Society is recruiting new members for a ground floor flat in its Georgian building on the edge of Hotwells and Clifton Village, a 10 minute bus or bike ride from the city centre. The large one-bed flat spans a single floor and can be divided into two large rooms by folding doors: a bedroom/living room and a kitchen/dining room. It has a small bathroom and a balcony with a view of the suspension bridge. The flat is unfurnished, though some previous furniture may be available to purchase. Rent is £1081 including council tax, water rates and communal internet; electricity and gas are paid separately, and the rent may rise by up to 10% due to refinancing. The co-op is ideally seeking a couple interested in community building and co-operative living for the long term. Members share a say in running the co-op, meeting monthly, with around 2 hours per week of commitment. The house has a shared laundry room, a communal meeting room and a spacious shared garden. Pets are open to discussion; smoking indoors is not allowed. Applications close 29 October, viewings are on 4 and 6 November, and the room needs to be filled by 1 December.
