We are renting out a double bedroom in our recently refurbished 2-bed flat. All bills are included in one price. The flat has been finished to a high standard with a new layout, brand new kitchen with dishwasher and waste disposal unit, new flooring and carpets, and a fresh colour scheme. It feels warm, homely and well looked after. The set-up: We are only there at weekends for now, as we work away. So you'll have the place to yourself all week. That suits someone who works from home or just wants a quiet, calm base. We plan to move back in temporarily early 2027 before we go travelling again, and you'd be welcome to stay on as the flat will be your home! We'll also have our cat with us when we're back. The flat: Good-sized double bedroom with plenty of storage. Brand new kitchen with dishwasher and waste disposal unit. Living room with a large wall-mounted TV. Private garden and a small shed for storage. The room is painted in my company colours as it used to be my office, but you can choose a colour and I'll paint it before you move in. Please note: This is a lodger arrangement, so you'd be renting a room in our home with a simple lodger agreement rather than a standard tenancy. Notice periods are more flexible for you, and we're happy to talk it through at a viewing. The street: Friendly, considerate neighbours and a real sense of community. Who we're looking for: A tidy, considerate professional or remote worker who wants a quiet, homely place to live. We're easy-going and happy to give you space.
