Description

We are a mum and daughter household who have been renting a room in our friendly home for nearly ten years, so we are well used to sharing the kitchen, lounge and other spaces. I have retired, and Charlotte has recently set up her own online business. The house has five bedrooms, a large kitchen diner and two lounges; one has a TV, but you will need a licence as we do not watch TV. The garden is huge and is home to foxes, bats and badgers. Your room is a large double at the back overlooking the garden, so it is very quiet. It is furnished with a double bed with a new Loaf mattress, a desk, a double wardrobe and a TV bracket. You will have mostly sole use of the family bathroom, though occasionally someone may use it. There is a driveway to park on, and you get a shed to use that you can lock. The room would not be suitable for homeworking. We would ask for two references and a deposit of £500. The room is available from the beginning of January. We would prefer a mature professional male, but we are happy to consider anyone who thinks this could be a good place for them. It is a family home, so grandchildren visit occasionally, but do not stay. Council tax band D.
