A double room with garden access and underfloor heating is available in a welcoming, LGBT-friendly house share. The room is available as our housemate is moving out. The house has a shared bathroom with a bath and underfloor heating, a dishwasher, a downstairs garden, an upstairs patio area and plenty of open space. The house has a relaxed, sociable atmosphere, and all housemates contribute to keeping the home clean and tidy. Victoria Park is right next door, and there is free on-street parking. Rent is £683.80 per month plus council tax (£44) and bills (roughly £90), with a £500 deposit protected by DPS. DSS is accepted and there are no agency fees, as the landlord is private. The current housemates are professionals aged 28 to 31 who all work in social care and work from home in a hybrid arrangement. They share their home with a three-legged rescue whippet cross called Spyro. The housemates enjoy films, game nights, movie club, pot lucks, crafternoons and murder mysteries, and they cook communal vegan meals together. They are all vegan or vegetarian, but this is not mandatory; they are looking for someone mindful and considerate when preparing and storing non-vegan food, and willingness to join vegan group meals is a plus. No parties are held.
