Mooregate House is a purpose-built private hall of residence in central Beeston, adjoining the main bus and tram terminus and opposite the Tesco Extra superstore and Arc Cinema. Students staying for the full year receive a complimentary tram pass, giving easy access to University Park (West Entrance 5 minutes, South Entrance 7 minutes) and QMC (9 minutes). Rooms are arranged in flats of 5 or 6 bedrooms, with a shared kitchen and dining area, and each bedroom has its own en suite shower room. The rooms are newly refurbished and furnished with a 3/4 size double bed, wardrobe, drawers, desk and chair. Bills included are water, electricity, internet (1000 MB) and TV licence, with weekly cleaning of the kitchen and communal areas. There is a shared garden area, bike store and car park (permit required). The accommodation is suitable for students or academic visitors only.
