Room to rent Rhymney Street, Cardiff

Description

Located just one minute from Misfits and a five-minute walk from Cardiff University Students' Union and the Centre for Student Life, with Cardiff city centre a short walk away, this room is ideal for students looking to make the most of university life.

The house is shared with five other second-year Cardiff University students, who are academic and athletic, with four playing football for various university teams. Everyone is friendly, the house is kept in good condition, and there are some good cooks in the mix.

The property has a shared living room with sofas and a dining table, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, oven and two fridges, two bathrooms with showers (no baths), and outdoor decking for enjoying the weather.

The room is generously sized, with two skylight windows letting in plenty of natural light. It comes furnished with a bed frame and mattress, a large chest of drawers, a desk, built-in wardrobe space, mirrors and a small sideboard unit. The slanted ceiling is lower towards one side, but there is comfortable headroom throughout most of the space.

The room is available immediately, with up to three weeks' rent covered before you take over responsibility for the tenancy. The contract runs until 30 June 2027. Rent includes water, gas, electricity and Wi-Fi. Council tax is currently not paid by tenants due to their student status; if you are not a student, the arrangements would need to be confirmed with the letting agent.

Two council parking permits are available for the road. One has already been allocated, leaving one available to purchase directly from the council for £30 per year if required. There is generally good parking availability on the road.
