The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, and Nespresso machine. The open-plan living/dining area features a dining table that extends to seat 4, perfect for meals or home office work. The cozy living room offers plush sofas, a TV with Amazon Firestick, and a gas fire for relaxing evenings. Hive smart heating runs throughout the property. The cottage boasts two bedrooms across two upper floors, both with outstanding views overlooking the medieval village. The first floor houses the main bedroom with a king-size bed and built-in storage, and a recently renovated family bathroom with a power shower over the bath. The top floor features a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and a freestanding rack for hanging clothes.
A small gravelled terrace at the rear offers a bistro set for 2. Beside the parking space is a gate to enter the 'secret garden' with outdoor seating/dining for 4. Private parking is available behind the property for one small/medium vehicle, with additional ample free parking on the street just a few steps away. Mid-stay cleans and/or linen changes can be organized on request for an additional charge. A travel cot and high chair can be supplied for an additional cost of £25 per stay.
The dining table in the open-plan living/dining area is also great for home office working.
Please note that the steep, narrow winding staircases between each floor are part of the cottage’s historic charm but may not be suitable for young children or guests with mobility concerns. Taller guests will need to mind their head when going up & down the stairs as the entrance to the stairs at the top & bottom are quite low. The church nearby has bells that chime every 15 minutes but is very quiet when the windows are closed. Strictly no parties allowed, with quiet hours observed from 11 pm to 7 am. Strictly no smoking or vaping indoors. Sorry, no pets allowed. Standard check-in time is from 4 pm onwards and check-out time is by 10 am. We may be able to offer a later check-out or earlier check-in for a small cost, subject to availability and via prior arrangement.

Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
Adderbury is a quintessential medieval village with 4 fantastic pubs, a café, and a village store all within a short walk. It's conveniently located just off the A4260, with Soho Farmhouse only 7 miles away, Aynho RH 3.5 miles, Blenheim Palace 12 miles, and Banbury/M40 only 3 miles. Adderbury is ideally located for day trips, with the Cotswolds just a 30-minute drive away and Oxford 18 miles away by car, bus, or park and ride.
