Guests can enjoy a private garden with a paved patio area and a small lawn overlooking open countryside. Parking is available directly opposite the house in shared parking bays on a first-come, first-served basis. A gas barbecue is available during the summer months. A high chair and cot are provided. The entrance nook features a traditional wood floor, a log-burning stove, and two armchairs, making it a perfect spot to read or relax. Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. There is a strict no pets policy and a strict no smoking policy throughout the property. Guests with restricted mobility should enquire beforehand due to steep stairs. Smoke/CO detectors are located throughout the property and operate on a sound-only basis. Located in the beautiful village of Lower Swell, this cottage is just a 2-minute walk from the village center and a mile from the famous market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. The highly regarded local pub, the Golden Ball, is a 2-minute walk away, known for its good food and locally brewed ales. Tesco Superstore and Co-op are less than a 10-minute drive away in Stow-on-the-Wold. Lower Swell is conveniently situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, with Lower Slaughter 2 miles away, Bourton on the Water 5 miles away, and Moreton on the Marsh 5 miles away. Kingham Train station is a 15-minute drive from the cottage.
