For ambiance, there are two working fireplaces, and reliable heating and hot water are provided by an oil-fired boiler.
One small, well-behaved dog is allowed on request for an additional fee of £30. Free on-street parking is available close by on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cottage offers good internet connectivity with 100MB/s speed and a reliable mesh Wi-Fi system that covers the whole house, making it suitable for streaming videos.
Please be aware that as an older cottage, there are occasional small bugs and cobwebs, and there are low beams and steep wooden stairs. Check-in time is from 3 pm, and check-out is at 10 am. Smoking or vaping is not permitted throughout the property. No parties are allowed.
Guests have access to the whole property, including the enclosed private garden.
This cottage is an ideal base for a country getaway, set in a valley in the heart of the Cotswolds. It's located about a 10-minute drive from Cheltenham, Northleach, and Bourton-on-the-Water. The property sits just a few steps from a 'crocodile' water spout along a lane bordered by a little stream that flows under the cottage doorstep.
