Feel at home in this delightful 1-bedroom cabin located on the shingle headland at Dungeness, moments from the sea, offering wonderful views. This modern and user-friendly cabin provides independent access and key for complete independence.
The cabin features a modern, large walk-in shower room and a separate living room with a kitchenette. It offers a super comfy king-size bed or twin beds option, and a sofa bed. Basic cooking facilities include a convection oven, grill, and hob, along with a fridge to store and chill your food. Tea and coffee are provided.
Free parking is available for one vehicle. Guests can request an iron during their trip. Small, well-behaved, non-molting dogs are occasionally accepted with advance notification for an additional £20, with the request that they do not go on soft furnishings and are dried off if coming in from the rain or sea.
The cabin offers good Wi-Fi, making it suitable for remote work.
Please note that there is no TV or DVD player in the cabin. The cabins are powered by solar panels, running infrared heaters that are programmed to come on throughout the day, with a boost button for additional heat. There is also a megaflow water tank for plenty of hot water. Smoking is not allowed. Guests are required to complete a verification process facilitated by Truvi, which involves providing a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. Guests can choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40.
Dungeness is a unique conservation area and nature reserve, offering a peaceful, spacious, and remote experience. It's a working community where residents live and work. A great pub serving a selection of food is located a few hundred meters away. The cabin is the perfect base to explore this wild and magnificent area of Kent, with lovely views towards the two lighthouses.
