The current housemate is a nurse who works 12-hour day shifts and enjoys hiking approximately one weekend a month, during which times you would have the place to yourself. The cat, Fred, is sometimes vocal but always affectionate and enjoys company. He has a lovely and reliable cat sitter, so it's up to you if she comes to hang out with him or if you are happy to look after him yourself for those weekends.
The housemate is an outdoorsy vegetarian who prefers a 'lived-in' level of tidiness. While the place is kept clean and reasonably in order, it may not suit someone who requires minimalism in the home. Therefore, they are looking for someone with a similar approach.
The flat has the usual facilities, including a bath, electric shower, washing machine, and broadband. The monthly rate includes all bills. Note that the cupboard in the bedroom contains the boiler, although there is some storage space above and below it.
