Each of the two well-furnished bedrooms on the ground and top floors boasts its own private bathroom with a shower. Both bedrooms are furnished with luxury king-size beds, fine Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, and a hairdryer.
One allocated private parking space is available in the courtyard at the front of the house. For those with more than one car, council parking scratch cards are provided for a nearby car park (1-minute walk away), charged at cost via an honesty box at the property (£7 for an all-day card and £1.70 for an evening card).
This home is equipped with superfast WiFi, making it ideal for remote work.
The spiral staircase linking the three floors is not suitable for very small children. Guests are required to complete verification facilitated by Truvi (previously called Superhog) upon booking confirmation. This process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. Guests can choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee) or a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40. Check-in information will be provided after successful verification. Pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted.
The house is excellently located in a small, peaceful development, yet just around the corner from the Castle and the historic uphill area of Lincoln with its famous Cathedral. From the historic quarter, you can walk down the hill to the main shopping area, Cornhill quarter (bars & shops), and the Brayford waterside area, home to the University of Lincoln, approximately one mile from the house.
