Feel at home in this cozy Victorian cottage, a character-filled former mews tucked away in the heart of Ludlow. This charming property offers a unique stay with its historic timber-framed surroundings and proximity to the vibrant market town.
The cottage features a comfortable sitting room with a Smart TV including Netflix, leading into a fully equipped kitchen/dining room. A utility room with a downstairs toilet and drying room is also available. The private courtyard garden is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Please note, the stairs are reasonably steep and narrow.
Parking is not available directly at the cottage, which has pedestrian access only. Temporary unloading is permitted on the pavement on Old Street near the entrance. Long-term parking is available at Smithfield car park for £2.40 per day or £10 per week via the MIpermit APP.
Pets are not allowed and smoking is not permitted within the cottage. The second bedroom features a small 4ft double bed. Bookings are subject to a verification process carried out by our trusted partner, Truvi. In rare cases where a booking is flagged during this process, additional information may be requested or the reservation may be cancelled.
IMPORTANT: Our partner requires guest verification facilitated by Truvi (previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee, currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
Located just a 5-minute walk from Ludlow's town center, you'll find quaint streets, independent shops, and a variety of restaurants, bars, and cafes. Enjoy walks along the river Teme or explore the nearby Mortimer Forest for outdoor adventures. Ludlow train station is a 10-minute walk away.
