The large vaulted entertaining kitchen features a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, and a Belfast sink, with a large dining table seating 14. For your comfort, underfloor heating is provided throughout, powered by an eco-friendly air source heat pump. The lounge offers comfortable seating for 14, a 55” TV, and a PS4 with games. A separate snug provides a peaceful retreat with countryside views.
Enjoy the outdoor space with a garden, patio, and courtyard. Licensed fishing is available in the 60m across mill pond. A BBQ is available for use in warmer weather. Parking for 5 cars is available in the undercover parking area. Two dogs are welcome for a fee of £20 per dog, per stay, with restrictions on where they can be kept. Additional services such as a private chef, yoga instructor, or wine/gin tasting experiences can be arranged for an extra cost. The property can also be tailored for special celebrations and team-building retreats.
The property is equipped with Wi-Fi, making it suitable for remote work.
The EV charger is untethered, and guests will need to bring their own charging cable. Please contact us to advise on the cost and payments for the EV charger. Guests should be aware that other people not included in the booking will be on site and accessing the pool area. Swimming is not permitted in the water, and children should be supervised at all times. The base of the pool is uneven and has deep parts. The area next to the waterfall is fenced off and should not be accessed. Cameras are on the garages and the field for safety and security. The maintenance team may be working on the outside of the property or other properties on site during the week. Guests are required to complete an online verification process, which includes providing a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. Guests can choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee) or a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40. Smoking is not allowed on the property.
Conveniently located close to the M6, The Drift House is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. Local shops and supermarkets are a short 2-to-10-minute drive away.
