Description
Two bright, spacious rooms are available in this unique artsy home, a semi-detached four-bedroom house in the charming village of Pathhead, just 15 minutes south of Edinburgh. Ideal for professionals seeking a quiet, homely residence in the country while remaining within easy reach of the city. The owner lives in and is seeking one or two lodgers. Rooms can be rented as two double bedrooms, or as one double bedroom plus a private living room with pleasant views, which feels more like a private flat. The rent for taking both rooms is £950 per month, including Council Tax (band C), gas, electricity and broadband. Each room has a TV with Netflix and WiFi, plus a kettle. A double duvet, four pillows, cushions and white cotton linen can be included on request. The shared bathroom has a traditional bath and drench shower, and there is a kitchen diner and a quiet living room without a TV. Lovely local field walks and Vogrie Country Park are close by, and East Lothian's sandy beaches are a 20-minute drive away. Having your own car is preferable but not essential, as a direct bus to Edinburgh runs every 90 minutes.
