Room to rent Plungington Road, Preston

Description

This single room sits at the back of the house, away from the main road, making it exceptionally quiet and well suited to anyone working shifts. It is right next to the shared bathroom, so there is no long walk for a morning shower, and it adjoins only the bathroom rather than another bedroom. Extra storage space is provided above the door, enough for about three suitcases. Despite being a single room, it is generous in size, with an extended doorway and a large window that keeps it warm and bright. The room is furnished, though you are welcome to bring your own furnishings with the rent unchanged. Furnishings are new or nearly new, usually IKEA or solid wood, and are upgraded when a tenant moves out. The house has four other tenants, all sociable professionals. Shared areas include a living room with WiFi and TV, a large kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and several fridge freezers, and a clean courtyard where smoking and vaping are allowed. The shared bathroom has been recently refurbished and includes a bath and an electric shower. Bus links to Royal Preston Hospital and Preston City Centre are close by, and there is on-street parking plus a small car park nearby. All bills are included, including council tax, water, gas, electricity, broadband and the TV licence.
