Feel at home in this opulent glamping lodge, a luxury getaway tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside. This private dwelling offers a secluded experience, ideal for couples or two sets of friends.
The lodge boasts a beautiful undercover outdoor seating area with comfortable chairs and an open hatch to the kitchen, featuring bar-style seating for a social atmosphere. Inside, a formal dining table seats four. The well-equipped kitchen includes a full-size fridge-freezer, electric kettle, toaster, hob, and all necessary kitchenware. A wood-burner provides effective heating and a cozy ambiance, complemented by a plush leather sofa with cushions and throws for relaxation. The bedrooms feature electric lighting, ample storage, and luxurious beds for a comfortable night's sleep. The fully equipped bathroom includes a smart shower enclosure, basin, and WC.
No pets are allowed at any time.
Safari Lodge is available for booking between the start of April and the end of October annually. There are a couple of steps up to the floor level of the lodge, and no fixed doorways inside. The bathroom has not been adapted, however the shower enclosure is walk-in.
Conveniently located between Melksham and Devizes, the lodge offers easy access to shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. The surrounding area is rich with excellent pubs. Nearby attractions include the tranquil Kennet and Avon Canal with beautiful walks, the famous Caen Hill Locks, and the Seend post office and shop just over the canal bridge. Local produce can be found at a delightful shop in Polshot. National Trust attractions such as Lacock Abbey, Great Chalfield Manor, and Westwood Manor are close by, and Stonehenge is only a half-hour drive. For countryside exploration, the North Wessex Downs, The Cotswolds, and Cranborne Chase are within easy reach by car.
