This home features four generously sized bedrooms, each offering comfort and character with large windows. The cozy living area boasts ample comfy seating, a large Smart TV, a piano, and children's games. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with good quality appliances and plenty of cooking equipment. Enjoy the good-sized private garden with outdoor seating and a decking area.
The front driveway offers parking for two cars, parked one in front of the other, with additional street parking available. A travel cot and high chair are available for use during your stay.
A large dedicated workspace is a key benefit, featuring two powered sitting/standing desks, making it ideal for a working holiday.
This property is for family stays and respectful guests only; no parties, events, or loud noise are permitted. Smoking is strictly prohibited. Please be aware that the garden is maintained on a regular schedule, and access to the grounds may be required during your stay, though this will not involve entering the house or disturbing guests. Stays longer than 4 weeks are unfortunately not accommodated. Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested for early check-in without permission or late check-out. External cameras are in place for safety and security, facing the drive/garage door and indirectly facing the rear doors and garden fence. Please note that the garage is locked and not accessible to guests. The top bunk has a weight restriction of 80kg. Guests are welcome to use the children's climbing frame and slide in the garden at their own risk. Please respect the neighbours and keep noise down. No shoes inside, candles are strictly prohibited, and please do not leave appliances running when not in the house. Be mindful of energy usage by switching off lights and turning down heating when leaving the property.
High-quality bed linen, including towels, is supplied. Mid-stay cleaning and linen changes are offered complimentary for stays of more than 16 nights. Refillable bathroom toiletries are provided and refilled by cleaners on each changeover. A washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll are also provided. Unfortunately, pets are not accommodated at this property.
Marcham village is ideally situated for exploring the Oxfordshire countryside, with the Cotswolds to the West and the Chiltern Hills to the East. It's a perfect base for visiting the magnificent Blenheim Palace (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and exploring the historic city of Oxford, renowned for its history and culture. Excellent transport links are available, with Didcot Parkway train station a 15-minute drive away offering connections to London, and Oxford train station a 20-minute drive away. The closest M4 junction is also just 20 minutes from the property.
