The fully equipped country kitchen features a double oven, induction hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Beyond the kitchen, a snug area offers seating and a record player with a vinyl collection. The chic dining area comfortably seats 4 guests and has a log burner. The cosy living room boasts a biofuel natural fire and a Smart TV. A utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a downstairs WC, adds to the convenience.
A gas BBQ is available for guest use upon advance request to ensure the gas bottle is supplied, and a travel cot & high chair can be supplied for an additional cost of £25 per stay. One private parking space is available on the driveway, with additional parking on the quiet road opposite.
Strictly no parties allowed in this quiet neighbourhood, with quiet hours observed from 11 pm to 7 am. Strictly no smoking or vaping indoors. Standard check-in time is from 4 pm onwards and check-out time is by 10 am. Later check-out or earlier check-in may be available for an extra cost via prior arrangement only. As with many older cottages, the occasional cobweb may appear. A starter pack of logs & kindling and one bottle of bioethanol fuel are provided from October-March; additional logs/fuel can be purchased if needed. Bed linen, toiletries, and towels are provided, along with a welcome pack of essentials. Bookings are subject to a verification process.
With countryside walks directly from the doorstep and the bustling Cotswold village of Burford a short stroll away, this cottage is perfectly situated for exploring. Burford is a 10-minute walk, and charming villages like Bourton-on-the-Wold and Stow-on-the-Wold are just 15 minutes away. Nearby attractions include The Farmer's Dog pub (3 miles), Estelle Manor (14 miles), and Blenheim Palace & Woodstock (around 25 minutes away).
