Female lodger wanted for a single upstairs bedroom with shared bathroom in a detached family home on the west side of Bury St Edmunds. Off-street parking and a garage for bikes are available. The home is a 15-minute walk from the town centre and college, with easy access to amenities and the hospital.

Lodgers have use of all facilities, including the kitchen and kitchen equipment, front room, dining/sitting room, a large garden and two bathrooms. Bills, WiFi and communal supplies such as toilet paper, handwash, dishwasher soap and cleaning products are included in the monthly rent, excluding laundry soap. Please clean up after yourself in communal spaces.

The home is occupied by the landlady and her two children, aged 18 and 20, the younger of whom is also at university. A second lodger occupies the other rental bedroom. The room will be available from 7 November. Only female applicants are considered; no males or couples, please.

The landlady is kind, thoughtful and quietly friendly, works flexibly including from home, and values her own space and that of her lodgers.
