The open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area on the ground level features a comfortable living area centered around a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen tucked under the stairs, and a dining area with a large window. Upstairs, the master bedroom is furnished to the highest standard with a large comfy bed, plush carpets, and wooden furniture. The family bathroom on the first floor has a walk-in shower, WC, and basin. The second bedroom on the second floor is made up of two single beds and offers spectacular views of Whitby Abbey. Each bedroom is equipped with a small television.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at Amber Cottage per reservation. A parking scratch card is provided, allowing for free on-street parking in the 'W' zone.
Smoking and events are not allowed. Access is via key safe with full details provided shortly before arrival. The property is suitable for children and infants.
Located just off the iconic Flowergate, this cottage is steps away from Whitby's shops, restaurants, and bars. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade are a 5-minute walk away, and nearby attractions include Trenchers for fish and chips, nostalgic arcades on Pier Road, and the medieval streets dotted with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps to Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's 'Dracula'. The property is also part of the North York Moors National Park, perfect for countryside walks.
