The house has four generous double bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra downstairs WC. The loft bedroom is a private studio suite with an en-suite shower room. The main family bathroom has a bathtub, a separate walk-in shower and a bidet. A pull-out mattress can sleep two children, bringing total guest capacity to 10. The kitchen has a wide double oven with induction hob, a microwave and a toaster, with induction-compatible pans provided.
There is a large free car park less than a minute's walk away, and free street parking directly outside from 6 pm to 8:30 am. Between those times, a parking disc allows up to an hour of free parking.
Books, maps, DVDs and board games are provided throughout the house. Rechargeable LED tealights and torches are provided. No naked flames or smoking of any kind are allowed inside. Pets are allowed. Smoking is not allowed.
Guest verification is required via Truvi, using a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. Guests may choose a refundable GBP 500 deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40.
The harbour, beaches, shops and train station are all less than a 5-minute walk away, with panoramic sea and harbour views from the park. The Rum Story, The Beacon, Michael Moon's bookshop and Richardsons wine cellar are within easy walking distance. The coast is a 5-minute walk away and the lakes a 20-minute drive.
