This charming two-bedroom property sleeps up to 6 guests and retains its original Victorian charm while offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout. Guests can admire Daphne's own oil paintings and browse her personal collection of books, adding a special sense of history and personality to every stay. The property features a cosy living room, a separate dining room with a library, and a bright south-facing garden, perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or unwinding after a day exploring the city. The accommodation entrance is on the ground floor, and there are no steps to the main entrance; however, there are stairs within the property that take you up to the second level.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a Bosch washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, oven, and kettle, along with plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery, and cutlery. Complimentary tea and coffee, along with salt and pepper, are provided. The sociable living area features comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a double sofa bed, making it a great space for relaxing with a movie or catching up after a day exploring Brighton. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower, separate bath, sink, mirror, and toilet. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and bath mats are provided.
There is paid parking at the end of the street for guests travelling with a car. This property is pet-friendly, with an additional £95 hypoallergenic cleaning fee per stay. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed unless prior permission has been granted.
The living room features a Smart TV and a double sofa bed, making it a great space for relaxing with a movie, enjoying a few drinks or catching up after a day exploring Brighton. An iron, an ironing board, and a hairdryer are provided for guests to use.
Noise should be kept to a minimum between 10 pm and 8 am. Call-outs due to excessive noise or parties may incur a fee. Smoking of any kind, leaving traces behind suggesting smoking of any kind, or vaping (including e-cigarettes), is not allowed indoors. Please smoke on the street or patio area. Late check-out is available for a fee of £50+VAT per half hour unless agreed upon in advance. Not returning keys to the key safe will incur a £200+VAT fee. The lead guest must be 21 or over. We cannot accept bookings where the majority of guests are under this age. Check-out is by 11 am. Unauthorised late departures may incur a £50 per hour fee.
