It is accessed via the house front door and is off the main stair, giving you almost exclusive use of the whole mezzanine floor, apart from occasional family access to the attic and roof hatch for maintenance or storage.

The owners occupy the ground and first floors but spend most of their time living elsewhere. We are looking for a friendly person or couple willing to help with light household tasks such as watering house plants, taking out the bins and recycling, taking in deliveries and keeping the house secure, about 1 hour a week. The rent has been reduced to reflect this.

Council tax, gas central heating and wifi are included; electricity for the flat is charged at the supplier rate. Parking is available for one car, with shed space for a bicycle if required. There is a large garden with a boat pond and lovely views of the Pentland Hills.
