A very large room with a full private en-suite bathroom in a spacious flat in an incredibly central location. The flat has a large open-plan living room and kitchen, with a dining table for 6 - plenty of space to actually relax and socialise without the flat feeling cramped. We’re on the 1st floor, so getting in and out is very easy. There are really large windows which is helpful during hotter days, and great for natural lighting. The building itself is well maintained, with a nice courtyard, helpful and responsive management, and a generally quiet and friendly atmosphere. There’s also a free underground parking space which we barely use, as well as quiet street parking. Location is a major advantage: 2 min walk to Borough station, 10 min walk to London Bridge station, 10 min walk to Borough Market, 12 min walk to Elephant & Castle, good bus links, Santander Cycles right outside, secure bike shed, and about a 25 min walk to Liverpool Street. The two current flatmates both work in finance and are pretty relaxed, clean and easy-going. We’re looking for someone with a similar vibe - relaxed, considerate and not particularly loud. Water bill is included in the rent, the rest of the bills plus the council tax come to roughly £130 per person per month. Overall, it’s a massive room in a spacious, comfortable flat with fantastic transport links, right in the heart of London — ideal for someone who wants central London living without sacrificing space or peace and quiet.
