We are looking for a new housemate to join our friendly, sociable household from 23rd November, as our housemate is moving in with her partner. We have a double room available for someone aged 28 to 40 who is easy-going, considerate and enjoys being part of a sociable house share.
The double room is on the ground floor, just off the living room, with one door to the hallway and another to the living room. It has no window opening directly outside, but a full-glass fire door lets in natural light from the windows beside it, and full-length curtains provide privacy. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a shelving unit that opens out into a desk.
The house has five bedrooms, a large bathroom upstairs, an extra WC downstairs, a combined kitchen and living room, a loft for storage and a small backyard. Central heating, two fridge-freezers, a dishwasher, a washing machine and tumble dryer, unlimited broadband and Wi-Fi, a communal Netflix account and a weekly cleaner are included. Residential parking permits can be bought from the council.
The house is in Zone 2, close to Barons Court station (10 minutes on foot) and Hammersmith station (12 minutes on foot), with supermarkets, pubs and the Thames nearby.
The housemates are young professionals in their early 30s who generally work office hours. They enjoy nights out, skiing and hiking trips, festivals and relaxed films at home. Rent is £805 including all bills and cleaning, with a deposit of one month's rent. No couples, students, pets or short stays.
