A furnished room is available for lodgers for up to 4 months. The room is located on the top floor of a flat in a private road. One parking pass is included. The flat is a 15-minute walk from Highbury & Islington tube station and a 10-minute walk from Canonbury overground station. This room is suitable for professionals on short-term work contracts. The room will be available from 12th September after repainting and cleaning. The landlord pays for the service charge, parking pass, and most bills, except for energy. There is currently no WiFi, but this can be arranged for a small extra charge. The bedroom can be furnished with extra chairs, a sofa, a table, and shelves if required. You will have the place to yourself for most of the time, although the landlord or their handyman may need to access the property occasionally, but not in the evenings. The landlord is looking for someone responsible who will look after the place while they are away, keep it clean and tidy, and not bother the neighbours. The landlord suggests that the energy bill is not included in the rent, and they will pay one quarter of it, with the lodger being responsible for the remainder.
