We are looking for a clean, considerate, and quiet flatmate to join our home. Senny works in higher education and Becky works in the fitness industry. We are a friendly household and enjoy spending time together, often watching something over dinner, sharing a bottle of wine, playing cards, or heading to the pub. We are also independent and enjoy our solitude. We both work fairly regular hours, appreciating a peaceful and relaxed home, especially on weeknights. Someone who works roughly 9-5 with their own routine and social life would fit in well. We are health-conscious and enjoy eating well. We are not a household glued to the TV, so someone who enjoys a similar balance would be a good match. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is respectful of the communal space, keeps things clean and tidy, and is mindful of noise and other people's routines, as the walls are quite thin. The flat is a work in progress, and we are gradually making it feel like home. We are therefore looking for someone who isn't too fussed about everything being perfectly decorated or fully finished. We are making improvements as we go, so if you're happy with a home that's still evolving, you'll fit right in! You'll be signing a contract through a letting agent who manages the property. Bills: water is £77 per month (fixed), Wi-Fi is £23 (fixed), council tax £173, and electricity + gas was roughly £50 for the summer. Bills will be split 4 ways. The flat is around an 8-minute walk from Borough Station and is in a fairly safe neighbourhood, although it can get a little noisy at weekends. The location is one of the biggest perks - around 10 minutes to Bermondsey Street, 15 minutes to London Bridge and Elephant & Castle, and around 20 minutes to Southwark.
