We are looking to replace a housemate who is moving out to live with his partner. The room is a well-sized double on the second floor (third floor for non-Brits). It is unfurnished, but you can buy a desk, chair, chest of drawers and king-sized bed from the previous tenant for cheap. The house has a spacious living room with lots of light, a spacious kitchen/dining room, a cosy garden with a BBQ and space to grow vegetables, and a repurposed garage with darts, a TV, bike storage and a drying area. There is a toilet on every floor and a lot of house plants. The house is well connected, a 7-minute walk to Stepney Green tube and 15 minutes to Bethnal Green or Mile End stations. We are three friends who enjoy sports, music, pub quizzes, board games, park games and movies. At least one of us usually works from home. All housemates are vegetarian; you do not need to be. We are looking for someone friendly and considerate for a long-term let of at least a year. Bills of around £110 a month for water, electricity, gas, internet and council tax are not included in the rent. The start date is flexible, with late October at the earliest. The landlord will require a tenant referencing check through Goodlord.
