The space is 'shabby chic' and was once an art gallery and party venue. There is a shared kitchen upstairs, which you share with two (occasionally three) others. The only downside is that it is on the lower ground floor and therefore has limited light. Clerkenwell is a great area - very central, but quiet at weekends, with loads of local pubs, restaurants, clubs, gyms and independent stores. Walk to the river, west end or city in 15-20 mins. Farringdon station (tube and overground) is just 5 mins away.
