After four years, I'm moving out to live with a friend, and my room is available from 26 October. We're looking to fill it quickly, with viewings most likely between 20 and 23 October.
The room comes with a bed frame (almost new, white, not the one pictured), a small chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The mattress, with an almost new topper and protector, can be taken over for £120. A bookshelf (3 months old) and a small desk (1 year old) can be left for £30. The total for the furniture is £150, though this is not a must.
Rent is £630 per month plus bills of £148, currently £780 in total. Bills will be higher in winter, probably around £850 in total. Everyone in the house pays the same regardless of room size; when someone in a bigger room moves out, people in the smaller rooms get first dibs, in theory.
The house has a small rear garden (decking soon to be replaced), a bathroom, a shower room, a large living room and a generous modern kitchen. The area is leafy, with Alexandra Palace right next door, and the Broadway is a 3 to 5 minute walk with coffee shops, cafes, restaurants and several supermarkets nearby. Bus stops are in front of the house and on the Broadway. The landlord is responsive and fixes things quickly.
