We are Jodie and Nia, looking for a queer, FLINTA person or couple to join our colourful 3-storey, 3-bedroom home with a garden in Leyton. The move-in date is mid-November. Our home features three spacious ground-floor communal rooms: a living room with a sofa bed, corner sofa, armchairs, and projector; a dining room with a 6-seater dining table, upright piano, and record player; and an open-plan kitchen, the heart of the home, with a big sofa, coffee table, and breakfast bar. We have three bathrooms, one with a bath, sink, and loo, and another with a shower, sink, and loo. The property includes a large shed in the garden for ample storage. We are seeking housemates who are dedicated to communal living, community-minded, proactive, and politically engaged. We enjoy shared meals, hosting events like Lesbian Film Club nights, BBQs in the summer, and gatherings around the fire pit in the winter. Our home is a calm, safe space, and we are mindful of keeping shared spaces clear and welcoming. We share our home with three rescue animals: a dog, a cat, and another cat, and it is essential that you adore living with pets. We have one bedroom available, but are open to swapping rooms for the right fit. Rent is ******pcm plus bills, with a move-in date of mid-November. The room is mostly-furnished.
