I am a painter and illustrator living in Bethnal Green, leaving for a month to visit family, and looking for a female professional to take over my room for a short let during December. The room is available from 1 December 2026 for a minimum and maximum term of one month, with bills, amenities and WiFi included and a deposit of £200. I will take most of my belongings and leave the bookshelf and a few other items for my return at the beginning of January 2027. I live with the landlord, an economics and IT professor, and a 23-year-old female housemate. The house is quiet during the day, the living room is shared, and everyone shares the kitchen plates and pots. The household cleans weekly and a cleaner visits monthly. The flat is less than a five-minute walk from Bethnal Green underground station, with corner shops, coffee shops, a Co-op within three minutes, and Shoreditch about 20 minutes away.
