We are looking for a new housemate for our spacious 3-bedroom flat, located on a quiet residential street, just an 8-minute walk from Finsbury Park. The bedroom is a comfortable, high-ceilinged double room with a large window facing the communal garden. It comes furnished with a bed, desk, and cabinet, offering ample space for clothes and belongings. The room is on the first floor, next to the living room.

The flat is spread over two floors of a period townhouse and includes a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. One bathroom is en-suite to the top bedroom, meaning the main bathroom is shared by only two people. The house is filled with natural light throughout the day.

You would be living with Sam, a queer 32-year-old theatre maker, and Martha, a 27-year-old queer creative working in film. We enjoy going to the theatre, reading about history, and occasionally watching TV shows. We often hang out in the living room and get along very well, frequently engaging in activities outside the house together. We sometimes host parties for birthdays and are very open to having guests over and cooking dinner together, fostering a social household environment.

Martha has an indoor cat with a litter tray in the hall. While Dilly is very affectionate, unfortunately, we cannot accept anyone with additional pets.

The flat is situated a 5-minute walk from Stroud Green Road, which is lined with cafes and restaurants, and an 8-minute walk to Finsbury Park tube and train station. There's a lovely pub at the end of our street, and you can easily reach Lidl, Sainsbury's, or Tesco within 10 minutes.

We are seeking a housemate who is tidy and considerate, yet also friendly, social, and interested in occasional hangouts or conversations beyond daily chores. We value someone with kind politics, who acknowledges the reality of climate change and structural racism, and believes in a free Palestine.

We collectively purchase certain items like toilet roll and cleaning products and clean the flat ourselves. We are looking for someone to sign onto a contract with the estate agent, so depending on your salary, a guarantor might be necessary.
