Leaving my cosy double room in this gorgeous flat in West Norwood, available from December. You will live with two flatmates aged 31, both lovely, who enjoy watching shows, park runs and the occasional night out, while everyone keeps their own space. The flat is split over two floors and feels like a house, with a huge open-plan living, kitchen and dining room under a dual-height skylight ceiling, and sliding doors to a spacious terrace. The room has a big built-in double wardrobe, a shelf area by the door, and comes with a bed. You will share a large bathroom with one other flatmate, plus there is an extra downstairs toilet and plenty of shared storage, including a storage room known as the shed and another double wardrobe on the upstairs landing. The area has a Picturehouse cinema, a board game bar, cemetery walks, a monthly food market by the church, a gym and plenty of pubs and restaurants. There is no parking at the flat, but free on-street parking is a couple of minutes away. Tulse Hill and West Norwood stations are a short walk away with direct trains to Victoria, Clapham Junction, London Bridge, Peckham and Battersea, and there are direct buses into central London. The landlord is responsive and recently replaced the washing machine and fridge/freezer. We are looking for a sociable, tidy and respectful flatmate, preferably a woman, with viewings to be completed by 11th November.
