I'm moving on to a new place, so my room in our friendly four-person flat in Bermondsey is becoming available from 7th December. I've really enjoyed living here with the three flatmates. The flat balances sociable living with your own space.

The room is spacious for the rent, with plenty of room to relax and work from home. It comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, a double wardrobe with under-bed storage, a desk and chair, and a large window overlooking the courtyard. Your own bathroom is just across the corridor, with a shower, toilet and bathroom cabinet. The internet is very fast.

The flat is a ground-floor flat at the back of a quiet residential block. The shared kitchen and living area has a large TV, a sofa bed, a fridge, freezer and air fryer, and all kitchen utensils are shared. A private patio is accessed through double French doors. There is central heating throughout, and a cleaner visits every two weeks, included in the bills. The landlord is responsive.

The flatmates are friendly and sociable, and everyone respects each other's space. It is not a party flat.

Rent is £1,020 per month, with bills of approximately £120-130 per month. The deposit is £1,000. You will take over my place on the existing shared tenancy and be named on the agreement. No couples or pets, no smoking indoors, not suitable for students. Right to live in the UK and standard affordability checks required.
