Double room with ensuite bathroom, available up to three nights a week, preferably Wednesday and Thursday nights. Rent is to be discussed based on the number of nights, starting from £75 a week for one night, £110 for two nights and £125 a week for three nights. Suitable for a working professional who lives outside London but needs a room in London for work a few weeknights.
The bright, comfortable bedroom is in the loft conversion and has a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The ensuite bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. The room is cleaned once a week, and fresh bed linen and towels are provided.
Access to the kitchen diner is included, but not to other rooms or the living room, and not at weekends. You are welcome to cook, and tea, coffee and bread are always available.
The house is a Victorian mid-terrace in the vibrant neighbourhood of Harringay, with excellent Turkish restaurants and Tesco, Sainsbury's, Lidl and Aldi all within walking distance. Harringay Local Store is a five-minute walk away. Transport links are excellent: Turnpike Lane station (Piccadilly line) is a 7-8 minute walk, Hornsey rail station 10-15 minutes, Harringay Green Lanes station 15 minutes, and buses 29, 141 and 341 run nearby.
The landlord is a solo parent and this is a family home with two children and one friendly cat, so a reliable, easygoing lodger who understands it is a family home is sought. Street car parking is available at £5 per day, and secure bike parking is free in the bike shed.
This is a Monday to Friday let only, up to three nights a week, and is not a full-time let. Deposit is £200 and bills are included. Minimum term one month, maximum twelve months. References required.
