The owner is a university academic and the only other adult; their school-aged son lives with them half the time. No other lodgers. The owner works from home two or three days a week. The household is vegetarian. The 51 bus stop is 5 minutes' walk away, with Woolwich (Elizabeth line, DLR and National Rail) about 15 minutes by bus and Welling station about 10 minutes by bus. Plumstead station is about a 25-minute walk. Included in £950 per month: council tax (band E), gas, electricity, water, broadband and cleaning of the shared areas. No extra bills. Terms: single occupancy; minimum stay 6 months, ideally 12 or more; working from home welcome; no overnight guests by prior agreement; no pets, smoking or vaping. This is a lodger licence in the owner's home. Visiting academics on fellowships of 3 months or more are welcome to enquire; a slightly higher rent applies for stays under 6 months.
