The ground floor features a living room with a plush sofa, ottoman seating, chairs, a smart TV, and a log burner in the lounge. The spacious dining room is ideal for entertaining, with a large table seating six, a decorative fireplace, and a reading corner. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster. A convenient downstairs WC includes a washing machine and condensing dryer. The first floor boasts two bedrooms: Bedroom One has a king-size bed and space for a child's bed or travel cot, while Bedroom Two features a double bed and a reading chair with a view of the walled garden. Both bedrooms offer ample storage with wardrobes and chest of drawers. Hotel-quality bedding, fresh white linen, and towels are provided, along with miniature travel-sized toiletries.
A high chair is available upon request. On-street parking is available outside the property, with a church car park and a secure car park a short distance away for £2 per day. A bike storage area is also provided.
The dining room offers a great space to work with a great Wi-Fi connection.
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. An early check-in or late check-out without permission will incur a £30 charge. There is a £100 charge for lost keys. The door locks automatically behind you, and a callout fee of £30 or £50 after midnight applies if locked out. Bedding for the sofa in the master bedroom or use of the travel cot is available for an additional charge of £20 each. A high chair is available for an additional £5. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is not allowed.
IMPORTANT: Our partner requires guest verification facilitated by Truvi (previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee, currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
The location is ideal, just a 1-minute walk from the town's attractions, including local shops, restaurants, bars, and historical sites. Enjoy canal walks and a nearby brewery with a lovely pub serving Joules beer and good food. The property is situated in a quiet and peaceful area yet remains within the buzz of the town, perfectly located for exploring Shropshire.
