This one-bedroom cottage is designed for comfort and functionality, featuring a large, stylish kitchen with high ceilings and a spacious living area. The bathroom is bright and clean, leading to a double bedroom with wardrobe and storage space. The living area includes a TV and provides access to the private garden.
Complimentary tea and coffee, along with travel-sized toiletries, a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll are provided for the first couple of days. Free on-street parking is available, and there is also a single shared drive between two properties. Pets are allowed.
Check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before 11 am. A £30 charge will be requested for early check-ins without permission or for late check-outs. Guests are asked to respect the neighbours and keep noise down, use table mats and coasters to protect furniture, and ensure all doors and windows are locked when leaving. To help reduce the carbon footprint, guests are asked to turn the heating down to 10 or off when leaving. Guests are also asked not to use the bathroom douche pipes to avoid flooding. Pets are allowed. Smoking is not allowed.
IMPORTANT: Our partner requires guest verification facilitated by Truvi (previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process. The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee, currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
Situated in the heart of the North East coastline, this cottage is within walking distance of Tynemouth Beach, offering stunning views and unique restaurants and bars. It is located 1 mile from Tynemouth village and 1.5 miles from Whitley Bay Town centre, with great public transport and road connections to both.
