Description
The Potato Barn is a spacious, comfortable detached house located on the South West coastal path in Perranuthnoe, near Penzance. Lovingly renovated using reclaimed materials such as driftwood and local stone, this traditional Cornish barn has been restored to a contemporary style, enhancing many of its historic features. It benefits from SuperFast Wifi and a modern entertainment system.
The large living room offers distinct zones for relaxing in front of the TV, unwinding by the log-burning stove, or enjoying the sea views and the hills towards the north coast. The well-equipped kitchen and dining area boasts a beautiful sea view and opens onto a sunny balcony with a large table. The private, sheltered courtyard is ideal for evenings, with comfortable seating and festoon lighting.
The main bathroom features a bathtub large enough for two people and a separate large-headed shower. A smaller tiled wet room provides a second shower and an additional toilet.
The master bedroom includes a luxurious super-king-sized double bed, fitted wardrobes, and a dressing table, with patio doors opening onto the courtyard. Bedroom two has a small double bed and fitted wardrobes. Bedroom three contains a triple bunk bed (small double at the bottom and a single on top) and fitted wardrobes. The fourth bedroom offers flexibility, with the option of two single beds or they can be joined to create a superking bed.
Situated in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the property is within walking distance of safe sandy beaches, coastal paths, a village pub and restaurant, and dramatic Poldark scenery.
