Relax on the comfy sofa in the lounge area, complete with a flat-screen TV and a bookshelf. The cottage-style kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, toaster, fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, and dishwasher. The master bedroom on the floor below is a peaceful double room with purple tartan accents and luxury bedding. The main bathroom features a large walk-in shower and a his and hers vanity unit. The top floor hosts the second bedroom, a quirky space with twin beds, purple tartan touches, and skylight windows boasting views of Whitby Abbey.
Guests have access to the full property. A parking scratch card is provided for free parking in the W zones in Whitby, with additional free parking available nearby. Pets are allowed with a maximum of one pet.
Smoking and events are not allowed. This property is suitable for children, but there is no space for cots. Host & Stay requires guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00, which covers up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Located on the iconic Flowergate, one of Whitby's oldest and most historic streets, Spyglass 1708 is ideally situated near cozy cafes, restaurants, and shops. The Blue Flag West Cliff beach and promenade are just a 5-minute walk away. Pier Road offers arcades and fish restaurants, while the other side of Whitby features narrow, medieval streets with boutiques and pubs. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Church of Saint Mary or discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey. The property is also a perfect base for exploring the woodland and moorland of the North York Moors National Park.
