This bright, spacious room comes with a double bed with under-bed storage, two wardrobes, a chest of drawers, a large flat-screen TV, two bedside tables and a lamp, a work desk, a 45L mini-fridge, and a laundry basket. The room is adjacent to the shared bathroom located at the top of the stairs on the top floor of the building. The stairs add to the privacy of the room, giving a sense of a separate space within the flat itself. All rooms (except for the shared kitchen) are lockable. The living room of this flat has been converted into the Landlords’ bedroom, so there is no shared living room available. The Landlord’s choose not to have or use a microwave or kettle, so these would need to be bought by the Lodger if required, and used & stored in their Room. The under-counter fridge in the kitchen is unfortunately only big enough for the Landlord’s at current, hence why they have purchased a 45L mini-fridge for the Lodger’s use only, to be kept within their Room. The flat is located on a beautiful street with lots of families and active, young professionals. It’s equidistant to either Balham Station or Tooting Bec Station, perfect for commuters on the Northern Line. The flat is owned by Isabela & Alex - we are a young & friendly couple, both working professionals. We are looking for a fun, easy-going and respectful housemate (and if they like road-biking, that’s a bonus!). Somebody who enjoys their own space but would be equally happy to join us for a coffee is the perfect balance for us!
