I have been a landlord for over thirty years and it is my full time occupation so I can respond quickly to your needs. I am an accredited member of the National Landlords Association (membership number ******). The contract is very flexible with only one month's notice if you need to leave. There is no notice at all needed if you want to swap to one of my other flats or houses. Upon payment, your deposit is immediately protected by the Government Scheme, MyDeposits. You will be issued with a signed certificate which will give you peace of mind. If I run off to South America with some pretty girl (unlikely but I can dream!) or get run over by a bus (hopefully not but more likely as I cycle everywhere), you will be able to get your deposit back. I always return deposits quickly and efficiently in full as soon as the keys are returned. All you need to do is give me one monthâ€s notice and clean your room on departure.
