We have a double room available in our spacious three-storey house in Herne Hill and Brixton. The house sits beside Brockwell Park in a gated community, a 10-minute walk from Brixton centre and tube, and a 10-minute walk through the park to Herne Hill station, which hosts a market every Sunday. Transport links to surrounding areas and central London, including Blackfriars, Victoria and Waterloo, are excellent.

You will live with three housemates, Chris (32), Abbie (31) and Stan (31). We are a laid-back group who enjoy catching up in the evenings but also like doing our own thing. There is a large, comfortable living room with a telly and a conservatory overlooking our veggie patch. The kitchen is modern, with a dishwasher, the house is heated, and the showers are hot with good pressure. The landlord is responsive and resolves issues quickly.

The available room is on the top floor, next to the bathroom, and looks out over the garden. It comes furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers, two bedside units and a double built-in wardrobe. It is very large and quiet, overlooking the garden and Brockwell Park beyond.

The move-in date is around 12 December to align with rent, with some flexibility if needed. Rent is £860, bills are around £100 each per month, council tax band is H, and the deposit is £860.
