A 30-year-old gay man working in fashion is looking for a new flatmate for the larger room in his 2-bed flat in Nine Elms. The flat is located directly across the road from Nine Elms tube station (Northern line), with a large Sainsbury's next to the station. It's a short walk to Vauxhall station and Battersea Power Station, and a short bus ride to Clapham Junction. The flat features two balconies, one off the living room and one off the kitchen, a separate bathroom and toilet, plenty of storage, and dual aspect windows providing natural light all day. The available room is a good-sized double (about 12 m²), the bigger of the two bedrooms, facing north-west with direct sun in the afternoon and evening. It comes with a bed frame, mattress, two nightstands, and two built-in wardrobes with overhead storage. The rent is £1,250 a month with a £1,025 deposit. Bills are around £200 a month, covering council tax (band B), gas, electricity, water, and wifi. A cleaner comes every two weeks at £45 a visit, split between the flatmates. The current flatmate works hybrid and travels for work regularly, so the flat is often quiet. He is clean, tidy, and easy to live with, friendly and up for a chat but not looking for a built-in best friend. He is looking for someone in their late 20s to early 30s, a professional with a hybrid job (not fully working from home), who is clean, tidy, and respectful of shared space. No pets are allowed. Guests are fine occasionally, but it won't suit someone whose partner would be staying over several nights a week or every weekend, or who likes to host often.
