I will be away over Christmas and am looking to sublet my large room in my Hackney flat. It is the largest room in the house, with an ensuite, a private balcony, and a desk that folds away when not in use, making it well suited to working from home. Available 13 December to 23 January (6 weeks), with some flexibility, though I would ideally like someone to stay at least 4 weeks. I will cover the utilities, including the cleaner who comes every two weeks.

You will be living with three women in their late 20s and early 30s who all work hybrid. We are friendly and social, with kitchen chats at night, morning coffees and films together.

The flat is in a code-gated laneway off Mare Street, within about 3 minutes' walk of a Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's Local, Iceland and a range of small shops. Hackney Central Station (Mildmay Overground) is 4 minutes away, Hackney Downs Station (Weaver Overground to Liverpool Street) 10 minutes away, and numerous bus routes are nearby.

This would suit anyone spending Christmas in London or moving to the city and needing a place to land.
